I learned this weekend that there’s a spectacular Diego Rivera fresco at the City Club in San Francisco on the stairwell between the 10th and 11th floors.

The first clue to its presence was the security guard diligently, patiently — and not entirely successfully — preventing party attendees from walking up or down the stairs with food and drinks. I thought, “huh, why not?” Then looked up and 😲.
